Basic Life Support (BLS) is advanced CPR for healthcare providers. If you are looking for the premier BLS class then this is it! AHA BLS covers all of the topics you'd expect from a BLS class, but does so in a way that is highly detailed. The American Heart Association (AHA) is one of the organizations behind the science that BLS is based on. As a result, the training they put out within their own brand is some of the best available.

Description
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support or BLS is CPR geared towards healthcare professionals in either a prehospital or clinical setting and covers Adult, Child, and Infant age groups. Courses are customizable to reflect clinical or prehospital environments and touch on topics relevant to healthcare professionals. Courses are a mixture of Instructor led education and hands on activities. The class features a skills test and written test that must be passed in order to receive a course completion card. The written test must receive a score of 84% or better to pass. This course has been updated to the 2020 standards.

Student Manual
This course requires an American Heart Association BLS student manual. You can purchase one when you register, or provide your own. Loaner student manuals will also be available for review immediately before, during, and after the course if you do not want to purchase your own.
