This course includes all the basic elements required to become certified in the state of Oregon as an Unarmed Security Professional.  The class is taught by an Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) certified Unarmed Instructor and consists of book learning and exercises.  This course is intended for those looking to get into the private security industry as well as those who are new hires and need to receive their basic certification.  Certification is good for 2 years upon application acceptance. Please bring valid form of government issued photo ID to class.

DPSST Unarmed Security Renewal

This course is required every 2 years to maintain an Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training (DPSST) Unarmed Security Professional certification.  The class is taught by a DPSST certified Unarmed Instructor and consists of instructor-led training.  This course is intended for those already certified who need to maintain licensure as a condition of employment, or for those looking to stay certified for purposes of hire-ability.  Please bring valid form of government issued photo ID to class.
