Description
This expert-level program combines BLS CPR and Basic First Aid and helps keep healthcare professionals working as first responders prepared and ready as they encounter life-threatening emergencies, provide basic life support and first aid, and respond to choking incidents; for Adults, Children, and Infants. This course features additional first aid training particularly relevant to first responders that is not covered in the regular BLS + First Aid course. ASHI’s Basic Life Support, BLS for Healthcare Providers and Professional Rescuers conforms to the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. It has been approved for training for Emergency Medical Services personnel and is accepted by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). The program is also CAPCE approved and widely accepted in more than 150 healthcare-related occupations. This course features a written test element that students must pass with a score of 70% or greater. After successful completion of this course you will be issued two separate course completion cards, one for BLS provider and one for First Aid.
